Hi, I’m Surya Prakash Chhetri, I am 28 years old and I am currently studying at Mid western University and hope to one day become a sociologist and filmmaker.
I am professional Cinematographer and Visual editor. Recently I am working in Samabeshi Television as a senior visual editor. Editing and cinematography is something that I like most. I would like to make some short movies on social issues and based on true event.
Throughout my life I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by people who have given me some great advice which has encourage me to better myself both inside and out.
Throughout my time in this sector. I have developed a real passion for editing and cinematography as well as acting and have been pleasantly overwhelmed with the number of opportunities that have come my way so far. I would love to continue developing my skills as well as build a profile in the lifestyle. I cannot wait to expand my horizons, work with new people and see where this industry can lead me!
I was very fortunate to be raised as a Nepelese Child. I speak Nepali and English as well as Hindi and some of local language. When I was 8 I spent 5 years in India so my HINDI aren’t too bad either.
I started acting and dancing at the age of 13 and continued right up till yet. Alongside my acting and dancing, I also took cinematography and editing lessons. And I have always had a love of ACTING, DANCING, CINEMATOGRAPHY and VISUAL EDITING ……..finally film making too.
